How to Draw a Human Face

All Steps at a Glance

1. 

   Step 1: Draw a tall oval for the head.

2. 

   Step 2: Add the center line and the eye line across the middle.

3. 

   Step 3: Mark the nose line and the mouth line below.

4. 

   Step 4: Draw the jaw: smooth curves from the sides down to the chin.

5. 

   Step 5: Draw almond-shaped eyes sitting on the eye line.

6. 

   Step 6: Add round irises with dark pupils.

7. 

   Step 7: Draw soft arched eyebrows above the eyes.

8. 

   Step 8: Add the nose with one smooth curve and a tiny wing.

9. 

   Step 9: Draw gentle lips on the mouth line.

10. 

    Step 10: Add small ears on the sides, between the eye and nose lines.

11. 

    Step 11: Draw the neck and a curved hairline.

12. 

    Step 12: Add flowing hair, lashes and blush — then erase the guide lines!
